Little Dragons Martial Arts | Young Student Martial Arts Classes | Escambia Martial Arts

The Little Dragons program at Escambia Martial Arts introduces young children to Kyuki-Do martial arts through fun, structured training that builds confidence, focus, discipline, listening skills, coordination, and respect in a positive family-friendly environment.

At Escambia Martial Arts, we believe it’s never too early to start building confidence, focus, and respect. That’s why we take great pride in our Little Dragons program a structured, age-appropriate introduction to Kyuki-Do designed specifically for children ages 4 to 6.

This engaging class teaches the same foundational techniques and values as our older youth programs, but in kid-sized bites. By breaking down core martial arts concepts into playful, manageable lessons, we ensure young students stay challenged, successful, and excited to learn without ever feeling overwhelmed.

Through interactive drills, physical games, and guided practice, Little Dragons begin learning:

The Little Dragons curriculum follows a structured belt progression from White Belt (21st Kup) through Red w/ Black Stripe (13th Kup), with each rank introducing new techniques, one-steps, and life skills. Students learn to count in Korean, memorize the Kyuki-Do Pledge, and begin understanding the Tenets and Theory of Power all in a format tailored to their developmental stage.

As they grow, Little Dragons transition seamlessly into our Dragons Program (ages 7–14), already familiar with the techniques, terminology, and expectations of the dojang. This continuity sets them up for long-term success in martial arts and beyond.

At Escambia Martial Arts, we’re not just teaching kicks and punches we’re helping your child build the mindset, habits, and confidence that will serve them for life.
